principles focus on eliminating waste, improving flow, and maximizing value. And when applied to ESD workstations, lean transforms them from static (pun intended) setups into adaptable, efficient hubs that grow with your production needs.
One of the most visible ways lean influences ESD workstations is through modular design. Traditional workstations are often fixed, making them hard to reconfigure if production needs change. Lean-driven ESD workstations, however, use

By standardizing components—using the same ESD mats, grounding cords, and tool holders across all workstations—manufacturers simplify training, reduce replacement part costs, and ensure consistent protection. A worker moving from one station to another knows exactly where tools go and how to check grounding, minimizing disruptions.
