Named after Mali's lifeblood, Niger River Industrial Supplies has been a fixture in the country's industrial scene since 2008. With a focus on
conveyor systems and roller tracks, they've become the go-to for businesses that need to move materials quickly and reliably—think grain processing plants, cement factories, and logistics hubs.
Their 40 steel
roller track is a bestseller. Available with yellow, black ESD, or white wheels, it's built to handle high volumes. "A rice mill in Kayes was using manual carts to move sacks from the sorting line to packaging," says Mamadou Ba, the company's operations manager. "They were losing 2 hours a day just on transport. We installed a 40-meter steel
roller track, and now the sacks glide automatically. They've since expanded their production by 40%."
Niger River also offers a range of caster wheels and accessories, which might not sound glamorous, but are critical for mobile workstations and turnover trolleys. Their heavy-duty caster wheels, for example, are made with polyurethane, which doesn't mark factory floors and can handle rough terrain—useful for warehouses with uneven concrete.
One thing to note: they're one of the few suppliers in Mali that stocks
stainless steel pipe series, which is ideal for industries that require hygiene, like food processing or pharmaceuticals. "Stainless steel resists rust and is easy to clean," Ba explains. "A dairy in Bamako switched to our stainless steel roller tracks last year, and they've seen a huge drop in contamination issues."
With a large inventory in their Bamako and Mopti warehouses, Niger River prides itself on quick delivery. "We know that downtime costs money," Ba says. "If a client needs a replacement
roller track placon mount, we can have it to them within 24 hours in Bamako, 48 hours in the regions."
